Nikon has just announced the successor to its D700 device
that already has a few years of service behind model. The D800 has a particular
definition of a full-size 36.6-megapixel sensor.
In early January, the Japanese automaker had already begun
to renew its range of professional SLR with D4. Today is the turn of the D800
and be presented. However, the aircraft had already made about him there
shortly after the first pictures were unveiled. Since the first reports had
suggested, the reflex has a full frame CMOS sensor with a resolution of 36.6
megapixels, a record for an SLR. Sensitivity side, it goes from 100 to 6400 ISO
range but can be extended from 50 to 21,600 ISO.

Added to this, the D800 uses the D4 as an EXPEED 3 processor
with software algorithm and can go up to 4 frames per second in full format.
The pictures will be stored in a SD card or Compact Flash. Side dimensions, the
case measures 14.6 x 12.3 x 8.15 cm per 1 kg, battery and memory card included,
which is less than his colleague D4 is. Its LCD screen measures 3.2 inches
diagonally (8.1 cm) and displays 921,000 pixels. Compared to its predecessor,
the D700, we note that the viewfinder now has 100% coverage, thus avoiding
errors framing, note CNET.
In video, the D800 shoots FullHD 1080p at 30, 25 and 24
frames per second. However, lowering the HD 1280 × 720, it is possible to pass
at speeds of 60 and 50 frames per second. To record and store two
possibilities: on the memory card H.264 (29 min 59 seconds per sequence), but
also via HDMI output, better quality and no time limit. For a more professional
use, the Nikon D800 was announced on March 22 at about 2899 euros.
