If Olympus said it would stop the war to 12 Megapixel, obviously this is not the case of Canon. Provide large drives and SDHC cards to manage the large 15 Mp in 14 bit RAW
Screen 3 "VGA seems very comfortable, and the menus and functions seem more consistent with rapid access to settings. An Av mode "light" appeared; we do not rule the opening but the "blur background" or EV compensation but the "light-dark" on a scale (which will please allergy technical jargon)
In addition, of course the HD video option, but still without the autofocus tracking as a "real" camcorder (only the Panasonic GH1 offers this feature).
For the rest, it is a 450D (very) slightly revamped ... same box, same viewfinder, even AF...
Many will compare the Nikon D90 - which seems a bit to be his target, but he has a pentaprism viewfinder, a larger and more modern AF, and a measure of most successful light.
